 Each session lasts 45 minutes and takes place in my East Dulwich, London, home.
  • Sat comfortably opposite one other, we give time for you to ground - feeling the support of the seat against your back - be present and relax.
  • When you’re ready, you may speak about issue you want to work with today. The client is always in control of the session's content and pace.
  • I will gently and safely guide you to consciously explore - without judgment - related physical sensations, feelings, thoughts and images as they arise. Through this simple moment-to-moment process, highly charged stress energy can be properly engaged and begin to naturally discharge through, for example, tingling or movement, such as yawning.
  • The result of this often subtle mobilisation is profound healing; the trapped life energy at the root of your symptoms is now freed, allowing lightness, relief and relaxation to establish in your physiology.
  • When there’s five minutes left, I’ll let you know, and we’ll begin to bring the session to a supportive close, leaving you feeling calm and grounded.
  • Far from distressing, SE works carefully to bring about a fundamentally grounding transformation in your relationship with yourself and the world around you.
Our overall aim is to focus on what’s whole and functioning well in you (we call this the healing vortex). By looking at what’s helped you cope with your issues, the traumatised or disorganised parts (the trauma vortex) automatically begin to dissolve in a very real way. It’s perhaps this fundamental difference to traditional ‘so, tell me what’s wrong’ therapies that makes SE so powerful.
